How can your napkin products (the Kuff, Band, or Haylo©) save me time and money?
Save in several ways. First consider that it takes time to train someone to properly fold the fancy look. Secondly, this is done with a starched or special fabric napkin. Thirdly, it can involve a minute or more to complete the complicated folds of the napkin.
Now, if you compile the costs of the starched napkin, the training, and the time of the folding process and average this out over time, the costs add up. With the napkin products you have seen, add the purchase to the fact that only seconds are involved in folding and/or rolling your napkin and pulling it through the opening.
The costs of starching the napkins or purchasing special fabric are eliminated, extended training time is eliminated, plus, the labor costs of hours and hours, over time, just in folding every day, are eliminated. Here is where your true savings is found.

How do your napkin products enhance my tabletop?
The enhancement is through the Look…the Feel…the Statement. The Look is different, unusual, warm, and elegant. The Feel is tactile with natural material, calming and soothing, and the Statement suggests you value the best for your customer experience.
This also says You are number One in their experience and sets you above the rest.

Are they washable?
We do not recommend running the napkin products through your dishwasher. These can be cleaned with a damp cloth or sponge and a neutral pH sanitizer. The finishes are designed to resist liquids and regular handling, but regular sanitizing is recommended.
Should you have this product for an extended period of time we recommend having them conditioned if they are exposed to extreme environmental conditions. (Temperature extremes, prolonged exposure to the sun and the like).

Isn’t the barbwire on the ‘do not disturb’ door hanger dangerous?
No, because it is not metallic. The “Barbwire” is actually, twisted and tied leather thong, and is only available in a rust color, to look like barbwire. It is not as durable as chain but is much more interesting.

What does 4-5 oz. Leather mean?
This refers to how leather is sold, which is by the square foot. The 4-5 ounce is how much a square foot of leather on a particular hide weighs at this thickness. The thickness averages 4/64’s to 5/64’s of an inch.

Do the Bands and Kuffs snap closed?
Snap closures are an option if that is what you are looking to have made. Usually the bands and Kuffs are riveted closed unless otherwise requested. Other options are the use of conchos, (a decorative item of various looks and prices) of the slotted style, tied or sewn on, or some conchos are riveted, but generally these are screw backed. Silver, brass, or copper finished buttons are also available and usually tie the sides of the leather together.

What does Eco-flow (v.o.c.) mean?
Eco-Flow is the brand name of the finishes we use and the v.o.c. stands for ‘Volatile Organic Compounds’. This refers to standards set for eco-friendly materials and products. We chose these finishes for the express purpose of our items being used in food services. Only the tabletop items are available with these finishes.

Can I haves special shapes made for my motif?
Yes, we will work with you to create the ambience you are seeking, as well as for themed events such as catering weddings, holiday parties, benefits, etc. in both shapes and finishes.

Are your napkin products safe around food?
We have chosen a vegetable tanned leather and non-toxic finishes just for this reason. The leather is tanned with natural tree and plant oils and vegetable materials. The colorings and finishes were chosen for their eco-friendly and non-toxic qualities with food in mind. Plus we want to keep our staff healthy.
We have not offered these items previously because we did not feel that the finishes offered before would be appropriate for tabletop service. These items now are as tabletop safe as we can make them with the current available products.
We do not recommend that these items are eatable. Please do not try to ingest them.

Can I get a proof item?
We will provide a proof item for your approval on custom special orders, per request at cost, which will then be credited to your order.
